Legal Notice

Legal notice.

Who operates this website and how to reach us, as required by UK e-commerce law and equivalent European disclosure rules.

This page is the legal notice for the website at https://voxatelier.studio. It carries the information a service provider must publish under the UK Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002 (regulation 6), together with the business name disclosures in Part 41 of the Companies Act 2006. It is also written so that a visitor in Germany or Austria can read it as an Impressum (Digitale-Dienste-Gesetz, section 5, and E-Commerce-Gesetz, section 5).

Site operator

Vox Atelier is a dubbing and voice-production studio working across five disciplines: dubbing, animation and YouTube, TV films and series, simultaneous interpretation, and commercials. The studio operates from London and Lisbon with a roster of 150+ native voice actors, and runs its productions on its own pipeline, ATRIVOX HQ.

The site is operated by a sole trader established in the United Kingdom. There is no company behind this website: no registered company name, no company registration number, and no VAT registration number. Any statement to the contrary anywhere else should be treated as an error.

The following details are required by law and are not yet published here:

  • Trading name: (to be confirmed)
  • Name of the service provider (the individual sole trader): (to be confirmed)
  • Geographic postal address at which the operator is established and can be contacted, and at which documents can be served: (to be confirmed)

Contact

Email is the direct and effective means of contact required by regulation 6(1)(c):

  • Email: projects@voxatelier.studio
  • Response time: under 12 hours. This is the studio's working commitment for first replies, not a contractual service level.
  • Working locations: London and Lisbon.

Use the same address for legal, privacy and copyright correspondence. A postal address for the formal service of documents will be published in the operator section above once confirmed.

How this site works

This site is a set of five static pages. It is worth being precise about what it does, because several of the usual assumptions about a business website do not apply here.

  • There are no accounts, no logins and no payments. Nothing can be ordered or bought here, so no contract is concluded by electronic means through this site and regulations 9 and 11 of the 2002 Regulations do not apply.
  • The "Request a demo" form has no backend. When you submit it, the page assembles what you typed into a mailto: link and hands it to your own email program. The website never receives, transmits or stores what you wrote. The message reaches us only if you then send it yourself, through your own email provider.
  • The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party scripts, pixels, tag managers or fonts. Everything it needs is served from this domain.
  • The only thing stored on your device is a record of your own choice in the cookie settings panel, kept in local storage. It is never transmitted. A Global Privacy Control signal is honoured automatically.
  • There is no user-generated content: no comments, no uploads, no forums, no profiles. Everything published here was put there by the operator.

The privacy notice sets this out in more detail, including what happens to an email once you send it.

VAT

The operator is not currently registered for VAT in the United Kingdom, so no VAT identification number is published and no VAT is charged on invoices. Nothing on this site should be read as a VAT-inclusive or VAT-exclusive price, because no prices are published here.

This must be revisited if UK taxable turnover crosses the VAT registration threshold on a rolling 12 month basis, or if the operator registers voluntarily. Cross-border work for clients in the EU can also trigger registration or reverse-charge obligations in other countries. On registration, the VAT number must be added to this page and to invoices. (to be confirmed)

Regulated professions and supervisory authority

Dubbing, voice production and commercial interpreting are not regulated professions in the United Kingdom. The operator does not hold a professional title granted in an EU member state, is not subject to any authorisation scheme, and is not supervised by any regulatory or licensing authority in relation to the services described on this site. There are therefore no professional rules of conduct or supervisory authority details to publish under regulation 6(1)(e) or 6(1)(f).

This changes if the operator joins a professional body, or takes on work in a setting with its own accreditation requirements such as court or public-service interpreting. (to be confirmed)

Responsibility for content

The operator is responsible for everything published on this site: the text, the layout, the illustrations, the code and the animations. We take reasonable care to keep it accurate and current.

Some things are worth stating plainly, because they are easy to misread:

  • Project counts, view counts and roster figures are indicative summaries of past work. They are not guarantees of results.
  • The waveform graphics are decorative canvas animations drawn by a maths function. They are not recordings, and they do not represent any real audio. There is no audio file of any kind on this site.
  • The roster image is a stylised illustration of anonymous figures. It is not a photograph of any voice actor. No voice actor is named or pictured anywhere on this site.
  • This site does not offer, market or use AI, machine or automated dubbing.
  • Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance. Work, fees and delivery are agreed in a separate written engagement.

Because the site carries no user-generated content and hosts nothing on behalf of anyone else, the hosting and caching defences that protect intermediaries do not arise here. We are responsible for our own content under the general law. If you believe something published here is wrong or unlawful, tell us at projects@voxatelier.studio and we will correct or remove it promptly.

The site carries no journalistic or editorial content, so no separately named responsible person is required under German media law.

This site links out to project pages hosted by third parties, including YouTube, ReelShort and GoodShort. Those links only open when a visitor clicks them. Nothing is loaded from those services unless and until you do.

Those pages are outside our control. We reviewed the linked content when each link was added and had no indication that anything there was unlawful. We cannot monitor linked pages continuously, and the provider of a linked page, not us, is responsible for what appears on it. Following a link means the third party's own terms, privacy notice and cookies apply, not ours. If we are told that a page we link to has become unlawful, we will remove the link promptly.

Copyright © 2026 Vox Atelier. All rights reserved. (to be confirmed)

The content of this site, including the written copy, the illustrations, the page design, the stylesheets and the animation code, is protected by copyright. It may not be reproduced, republished, adapted, redistributed or re-hosted without written permission. Viewing pages, and downloading or printing them for private, non-commercial reference, is fine.

Product names, platform names and logos belonging to others, including YouTube, ReelShort and GoodShort, remain the trademarks of their respective owners. They are used here only to identify work and destinations.

Voice, performance and demo material

No voice actor demos, recordings or audio files are published on this site at present, and no voice actor is identified here. If demo audio, performance recordings or voice samples are published on this site in future, the rights in them will remain with the studio and the performers concerned, and they will be published only with the consents needed from the performers and rights holders.

Whether or not audio is present, the following are prohibited in relation to any material published on this site: systematic scraping, bulk extraction or re-hosting; use of any material to train, fine-tune, condition or evaluate a machine learning model, including any speech synthesis, voice cloning or voice conversion system; and creating a synthetic voice, clone or imitation derived from any material published here.

No permission for text and data mining is granted for any purpose. This paragraph is an express reservation of rights for the purposes of any text and data mining exception or opt-out mechanism. It does not affect anything a person is permitted to do by law where that permission cannot be excluded by agreement, including the non-commercial research exception in section 29A of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.

Infringement claims

If you believe material on this site infringes your rights, contact projects@voxatelier.studio with the page URL, a clear description of the material, the basis of your rights, and how to reach you. We aim to respond within 12 hours and will remove or correct infringing material promptly once the claim is verified. Please raise it with us directly before sending a formal warning letter or running up legal costs. A direct message is faster and we act on it.

Hosting

This site is static: no server-side code, no database. It is hosted by Vercel Inc. (United States), which serves the pages from its global edge network. Vercel automatically processes request and server logs, including IP addresses, in order to deliver the site and keep it secure. There is no other hosting provider, no content delivery network beyond Vercel, no analytics and no third-party scripts. That log processing is described in the privacy notice.

Using this site, and our liability

This site is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will always be available, or that it will be free of interruption or error, and we may change or withdraw any part of it. The information here is general background about the studio. It is not advice, and it is not a substitute for a written proposal for your specific project.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of this site or from reliance on general information published here, and in particular for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of contracts or any indirect or consequential loss. We are not liable for the content of pages operated by other people that we link to.

What we do not exclude

Nothing on this page limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. If you deal with us as a consumer, your statutory rights, including those under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, are unaffected.

Complaints and dispute resolution

If something goes wrong, write to projects@voxatelier.studio first. We would far rather resolve it directly, and we reply within 12 hours.

The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform, which EU traders were once required to link to, stopped operating on 20 July 2025. No link is provided because there is nothing to link to. The operator is not required to use an alternative dispute resolution body, is not signed up to an ADR scheme, and does not undertake to take part in proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. None of this affects your right to go to court.

Governing law

This legal notice, and any dispute or claim arising out of it or out of the use of this site, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.

If you use this site as a consumer living somewhere else, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory rules of the law where you live, and you may also be able to bring proceedings in the courts of your own country. Work carried out for clients is governed by the separate written engagement for that work, which may say something different.

  • Privacy notice: what data is and is not processed, including Vercel's server logs and what happens to an email you send us.
  • Terms of use: the terms on which this website is made available.
  • Accessibility statement: our WCAG 2.1 AA target, what has been fixed and what is still a known limitation.

Version

Version 1.0. This notice is reviewed whenever the operator's status changes, in particular on VAT registration, incorporation, a change of address, the addition of audio or voice actor material to the site, or the addition of any third-party script.
